"This report came in from Elliott Stallion. It fits well within the category of those places one would never think Modul8 has gone to.

Just finished shooting on the set of Mercenaries where I was working in the art department as Graphics/Motion Graphics Designer and Art Department Assistant. I designed content and installed video for a UN Army base which featured Billy Zane playing Colonel Torida. The image attached is of Billy with Writer & Director Paris Leonti. The film will be out next year sometime and is currently in Post Production.

I used Modul8 to trigger video clips on the center screen in the UN base mission briefing. Modul8 allowed me to trigger content as the colonel delivered specific intel to his troops. I also used the Perspective Transform Module to corner pin the output so it fit the screen precisely. (I used a short throw projector behind a piece of sand blasted glass.) The set was designed by UK Production designer Paul Burns.

It was a difficult scene to shoot because there was so much dialogue but, Modul8 never failed and worked just as hard as any of the crew. VJing to Billy Zane is probably something I won't get to do again so thought I'd let you know about it. Great fun with great results."
